Q & A / PICS Who are we? We are southern Colorado's largest airbrush tanning studio, and specialize in only airbrush tanning since 2009. We have come across many obstacles since opening day, however; we have achieved our goal of always giving you a beautiful golden tan without harmful UV rays. In 2012, we made the decision to become part of the Infinity Sun team (originally started in Beverly Hills). With their one-of-a-kind system that includes state of the art airbrush machines, solution and professional training which each one of our tan techs must go through, we now offer you an even better, longer lasting tan! We have locations in Colorado Springs and Denver and hope to continue to grow and improve with every chance we get, but bottom line is, WE LOVE OUR CLIENTS! As a promise to all of our clients, we will strive to give you the absolute perfect, sunless tan. You will be able to tell once you walk through our doors. Why do we have so many reviews? When clients book online, after their appointment, Genbook (who is linked with Google) automatically sends out an email giving clients an option to review the services they have experienced. This process helps give us feedback to see how we are doing and allows new and future clients to know what we are all about. :) Who does the airbrushing? Only female airbrush techs do the airbrushing and each of our ladies have tanned hundereds and even thousands of clients. You can tan in your bikini, underwear or nude. You can easily wash your bikini or underwear within 24 hours without any staining. Please note: We see naked clients all day, and just like you, we are self-conscious of our flaws and understand it's uncomfortable to be in underwear or nude in front of a stranger. We want you to feel as comfortabl as possible while you tan and are here to provide you with a beautiful tan...and do not judge anyone. What is the pre-treatment? A fine blend of exotic aloes which assists in hydrating porus areas of the body (lotion acts as a blocker) This will enable our sunless tanning solution to penetrate uniformly into the skin, resulting in a longer-lasting, more even airbrush tan. What is the sunless tanner? Our all-natural, anti-aging solution is made with anti-oxidants & pure botanicals, leaving the skin radiant with a natural looking, golden brown glow. Containing a cosmetic bronzer derived from a walnut extract, our bronzing delivers immediate results. Your tan fully developes in 10 hours, but even if you shower after a few hours you willbe left with a healthy glow! I need to do to prepare for my airbrush tan? You will need to shower, shave or wax and EXFOLIATE prior to your airbrush tan. Once out of the shower, do not apply lotion to your skin because the tan will absorb best on clean, fresh skin. Do not wear deodorant. If you have deodorant on prior to your tan, you will have the option of cleaning it off your skin. It is better not to wear make-up, but if you do, your skin will still absorb the tanning solution. How long will the appointment take? Your spray tan takes about 4 minutes, and you will be dry enough to dress immediately after your tan. The entire visit will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Can you cover up my tan lines? One thing nice that we have over the machines is we can go darker on your white areas to help blend in those tan lines. Just tell the tech what you are looking for. Will I be tan right away? Our solution contains a bronzer for an immediately visible sun-kissed glow. When should I shower after the tan? After being tanned, avoid contact with water for at least 4-10 hours as your tan further develops. If you tan in the morning or afternoon...shower in the evening or before bed. If you tan in the evening then shower the following morning (if you have any bronzer left in your sheets, it will come out with one wash). Even if you only have a few hours before you have to shower you will still have a nice glow. How long will my airbrush tan last? Your airbrush will last 6-10 days. Moisturize your skin well, and avoid exfoliation until your next tan to extend the length of time it will last. We also offer tan extender lotions and body exfoliants. This product will prolong the life of your tan, particularly on areas where you may use more beauty products and wash more frequently, such as your face and hands. What makes a spray tan change the color of my skin? The solution that is airbrushed onto your skin contains a chemical called dihydroacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. DHA is a colorless chemical (derived from glycerin) that interacts with the amino acids in dead skin cells to produce a brown color change. DHA is Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved, it is not absorbed through the skin into the body, and it has no known toxicity. Could I end up orange/streaky? Sunless Perfection uses only the highest quality solution. Your airbrush tan will dry quickly minutes and will develop on your skin to create a natural golden brown and healthy-looking glow. In addition, unlike the one-size-fits-all tan booths, Sunless Perfection's adjustable airbrush application is customized to YOUR unique skin tone and applied evenly with no streaks. Does it have an unpleasant odor? Our solution has a light aloe vera sent. I am tanning for an event. When should I tan? Although you can tan the day of the event, if you have time we recommend you tan the day (or two) before. If your event is at night, you could also tan that morning and shower in the evening.
